Unable to Ping VM After P2V

After performing P2V conversion, user might have difficulty to connect to or ping to the newly created VM. The problem was still there after changing the new VM IP, DNS, or even MAC address.

The problem is mainly caused by same SID with source computer. Microsoft does not support changing a computers SID outside of a new deployment scenario using the Sysprep tool. The source computer have either to be reprovisioned or taken off from the network immediately after the P2V deployment, to avoid SID clashing in the same network.
